New Skoda Kodiaq L&K Edition Revealed
Skoda Kodiaq L&K Edition revealed. The Czech carmaker is set to debut the top-spec version of its Kodiaq flagship SUV at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show. Similar to other special editions from the carmaker that feature this logo, the Kodiaq Laurent & Klement Edition gets more equipment both on the inside as well as on the outside and comes with new engine options.
Visually, the Skoda Kodiaq L&K Edition (named after the founders, Václav Laurin and Václav Klement) receives new chrome-finished grille, LED headlights, new 19-inch alloy wheels and revised rear bumper with chrome exhaust tips on the outside. The ‘Laurin & Klement' badges on the front fenders sets the special edition from the regular Kodiaq.
Inside, the new Kodiaq L&K Edition features leather upholstery, a piano-black trim on the console, a Canton sound system, door sills with Kodiaq insignia, aluminium pedals, a power-adjustable driver's seat with memory function, automatic wipers, an auto-dimming rear-view mirror along with ambient lighting. A Laurin & Klement logo can also be seen on the seats as well.

Skoda has increased the engine options of the Kodiaq SUV in the L&K Edition. The L&K Edition of the Skoda Kodiaq comes with a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine which churns out 148bhp, and there is the 2.0-litre petrol unit which has been tuned to offer 188bhp up from the previous power output of 177bhp. A 2.0-litre diesel engine makes its debut in the Kodiaq which develops 148bhp. Another 2.0-litre diesel unit with 188bhp completes the engine range. The latest generation 7-speed DSG is offered on all engines.
The two powerful engines come with the 4×4 drive as standard and are available as an option for the other two. Additionally, the all-wheel-drive variants of the Skoda Kodiaq L&K have Adaptive Chassis Control DCC (Dynamic Chassis Control) as an option allowing the SUV's suspension to adjust, based on terrain.

The L&K Edition adds a premium touch to the Kodiaq along with a set of powerful engines. Skoda has not revealed if the Kodiaq L&K Edition will make it to India; however, the carmaker has brought the L&K Editions on the Octavia and Superb sedans to India indicating that the L&K Edition of the Kodiaq could be introduced in India.
