Maruti Suzuki has launched the new 2018 Ciaz facelift in the Indian market at a starting price of Rs 8.19 lakh ex-showroom. The Maruti Ciaz 2018 features a new front fascia and also gets a new petrol engine with SHVS smart hybrid system.

Design
The new Maruti Ciaz Facelift looks more premium and market as compared to the outgoing model. The new Ciaz features a new front fascia with the new redesigned grille, new headlamp design with projector lights and LED DRLs, LED fog lights, chrome fog lamp housing and a new bumper.
The side profile of the 2018 Ciaz facelift does not get any major changes except for newly designed 16-inch alloy wheels. The rear profile of the Ciaz gets a revamped tail light cluster with LED elements. The car also gets a new rear bumper.
The Honda City also features a premium look, but it lacks that shine of Ciaz. Up front, the City gets the signature chrome grille, stylish headlamp design with LED daytime running lights and a sporty bumper. The side profile of the sedan features a prominent crease running across the doors integrates with the tail light cluster.
The rear fascia of the Honda City gets LED tail lights and a chrome strip running across the boot lid. The bumper is also sporty with reflectors on either side. The Honda City also gets 16-inch alloy wheels.
The Hyundai Verna also features an aggressive design language with the signature cascading grille up front. The sweptback headlamp design with projector lights and LED DRLs adds to the sporty look. A muscular front bumper with chrome lined fog lamp housing completes the front design.

The Maruti Ciaz 2018 comes loaded with features such as a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, engine start/stop button, automatic climate control, rear AC vents, rear reading lamps, a 4-inch MID unit, cruise control, electrically foldable and adjustable ORVMs, leather seat upholstery and tilt steering.

The Maruti Ciaz facelift comes with standard safety features such as dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX child seat mounts, Speed Alert System, reverse parking sensors and seatbelt pretensioners with force limiters. Engine Specifications, Gearbox And Mileage
The new Maruti Ciaz 2018 draws power from a new 1.5-litre petrol engine that produces 103bhp and 138Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic gearbox. The diesel variant of the sedan draws power from a 1.3-litre engine producing 88bhp and 200Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
Both the petrol and the diesel engine features SHVS smart hybrid system which improves the fuel economy. The petrol engine returns a mileage of 21.56km/l for the manual model and 20.28km/l for the automatic variant. The diesel engine will return a mileage of 24km/l.
The Honda City is powered by a 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engine. The petrol engine produces 117bhp and 145Nm of torque while the diesel engine is tuned to produce 98bhp and 200Nm of torque. The petrol engine is mated to a 5-speed manual and a CVT gearbox. The diesel unit is coupled to a 6-speed manual gearbox.
The petrol model of the Honda City delivers a mileage of 17.4km/l and 18km/l for the manual and CVT variant, respectively. The diesel model returns a mileage of 25.6km/l.

The prices for the new Maruti Ciaz start at Rs 8.19 lakh and goes all the way up to Rs 10.97 lakh for the top-spec trim. Both prices are ex-showroom.
The Honda City is priced in the range of Rs 8.77 lakh to Rs 13.92 lakh. Both prices are ex-showroom (Delhi). The Hyundai Verna carries a price tag of Rs 7.89 lakh for the base variant and goes all the way up to Rs 12.99 lakh for the top-spec trim. Both prices are ex-showroom (Delhi).
