Jaguar has revealed the all-new F-Pace SVR at the 2018 New York International Motor Show. The F-Pace SVR is the latest iteration of the SUV from Jaguar with enhanced chassis and aerodynamics along with improved performance in all conditions.
The Jaguar F-Pace receives the SVR treatment from JLR's Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) to produce 44 percent more power as compared to the standard SUV.
Aerodynamic enhancements on the F-Pace SVR include, larger air intakes at the front, side fender vents, larger wheel arches and air vents on the bonnet. At the rear, the F-Pace SVR gets a new bumper housing the quad tailpipes as well as the side strakes.

The upgraded chassis on the new F-Pace gets progressive front and rear springs which are 30 and 10 percent stiffer than on the standard version. It also gets an anti-roll bar which reduces body roll by five percent.
The new F-Pace SVR now gets larger lightweight 21-inch and optional 22-inch alloy wheels. The braking power on the new F-Pace SVR is thanks to the 395mm and 396mm front and rear brake discs respectively. To further help reduce the overall weight and handling, the brake discs come with a two-piece construction.
The new F-Pace SVR also features a Variable Valve Active Exhaust system, which is 6.6kg lighter than the one on the standard F-Pace providing a distinct soundtrack to the SVR variant.
Apart from these, other additional features exclusive to the F-Pace SVR include: All-Wheel Drive system's Intelligent Driveline Dynamics (IDD) control technology, Adaptive Dynamics suspension, Electronic Power Assisted Steering (EPAS), Quickshift transmission, Adaptive Dynamics, Torque Vectoring and Dynamic Stability Control.
On the inside, the Jaguar F-Pace SVR receives slimline sports seats at the front and rear, with lozenge quilting and embossed SVR logo, sport shift selectors, new SVR steering wheel with aluminium paddle shifters, ten-inch Touch Pro infotainment system and a 12.3-inch HD instrument cluster.
The F-Pace SVR receives four interior trim options which include Red with Jet, Light Oyster with Jet, Siena Tan with Jet and Jet with Light Oyster stitching.
Powering the new Jaguar F-Pace SVR is a five-litre V8 supercharged petrol engine producing 542bhp and 680Nm of torque with a sports shift selector. The F-Pace SVR version can reach a limited top speed of 283km/h with a 0 - 100 km/h time of 4.3 seconds.
Thoughts On The New Jaguar F-Pace SVR
The new Jaguar F-Pace has finally received the SVR treatment. The performance version of the F-Pace has undergone a weight loss programme making it more agile with improved handling, performance and stability.
