2018 Audi RS5 Coupe Launched In India; Priced At Rs 1.10 Crore
Audi has launched the 2018 RS5 Coupe in India with updated design and new engine.
2018 Audi RS5 Coupe launched in India. Audi has launched the new 2018 RS5 Coupe in India with a price tag of Rs 1,10,65,000 ex-showroom. The new RS5 joins the A5 and the S5 and this is the second launch from Audi in India in 2018.
The 2018 Audi RS5 Coupe is based on a new platform and has grown in dimensions as opposed to the previous model. When equipped with the optional carbon fibre roof, the 2018 RS5 Coupe is lighter by 60kg.
On the design front, the 2018 Audi RS5 Coupe borrows its design cues from the standard versions (Audi A5 and S5) of the car. The 2018 RS5 Coupe features styling updates such as the sporty and aggressive bumpers with air intakes, large front grille, Quattro blisters, Matrix LED headlamps and 19-inch alloy wheels.

The 2018 Audi RS5 Coupe draws power from a smaller 2.9-litre TFSI V6 twin-turbocharged engine which replaces the V8 engine. The new V6 unit produces 444bhp and 600Nm of torque. The engine is mated to an 8-speed Tiptronic gearbox specially tuned for sporty and dynamic driving.
The 2018 Audi RS5 Coupe can sprint from 0-100km/h in just 3.9 seconds and the top speed is electronically limited to 250km/h. However, the top speed can be increased 280km/h with the R Dynamic Package. The 2.9-litre engine delivers a claimed mileage of 10.8kpl.
The interior of the 2018 RS5 Coupe features sports seats at the front and a flat-bottom steering wheel. Other features include Audi Virtual Cockpit with special RS screen, updated MMI unit and Audi Smartphone Interface. The cabin also gets Alcantara upholstery and aluminium-finished pedals.
The safety and driver assistance features of the 2018 Audi RS5 Coupe include six airbags, ABS, EBD, electronic differential lock, traction control, electronic stability control with torque vectoring and park assist with rearview camera and parking system plus.

The second-gen Audi RS5 Coupe feature subtle design changes as compared to the previous model. But under the skin, the 2018 RS5 Coupe is an all-new car. With the new platform and engine, the performance of the four-seater coupe has improved. The 2018 Audi RS5 will rival the likes of BMW M4 in the Indian market.
