German automaker Audi has revealed the new A6 luxury sedan at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show. The new luxury sedan features a new design similar to that of the Audi A8 and new technology. The new Audi A6 also gets mild hybrid technology as standard across the range.
The front fascia of the new Audi A6 features a wide hexagonal grille, sleek headlamp design with LED lights and DRLs and large air dams on the lower part of the bumper. The new A6 features coupe-like roofline which integrates well with the C-pillar of the sedan.
The rear profile of the new Audi A6 sports a sleek tail light made up of a single horizontal element and nine vertical line and a chrome strip running across the tailgate. Matrix beam and laser headlights are also offered on the top-of-the-range variants. The A6 will be equipped with alloy wheels ranging from 17 to 21-inch depending on the model.

The interior of the new Audi 6 comes equipped with the MMI Touch control system. The lower-spec model features an 8-inch display, whereas the top-spec model comes with 10.6-inch infotainment system and 8.6-inch climate control display. The sedan features a black panel design theme with sleek proportions.
The new Audi A6 will be offered with a mild hybrid technology across the range which uses a belt alternator starter (BAS) and lithium-ion battery on the four-cylinder engines. The V6 engines will be coupled to a 48v system with regenerative braking. It also improves the fuel efficiency and reduces carbon emission.
Initially, the new Audi A6 will be offered with a 2-litre, four-cylinder diesel engine producing 201bhp, two 3-litre V6 diesel engine good for 228bhp and 286 bhp and a 3-litre V6 diesel engine producing 335bhp. All engines are mated to an automatic gearbox.
The new Audi A6 is capable of sprinting from 0-100km/h in just 5.1 seconds before topping out at 250km/h. The new A6 also comes with four suspension configurations: standard, sport, adaptive damper control as optional and fully adaptive air suspension also as an optional feature.
