New udi A6 revealed: Audi has revealed the new eight-gen A6 luxury sedan ahead of its debut at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show.
German automaker Audi has revealed the new eighth-generation A6 luxury sedan ahead of its public debut at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show. The new-gen luxury sedan features an overhauled exterior and interior design and new technology which adds to its sporty appeal.
On the design front, the new Audi A6 is similar to the new A8 and A7 Sportback with sharp and striking design elements. The front fascia of the new-gen A6 features a large single-frame grille, sleek and sharp headlamps with LED lights and DRLs and large air dams on the lower part of the sporty bumper.
The side profile of the new A6 sports neat and flowing lines with the roofline tapering the C-pillar. The rear profile of the new-gen A6 features a sleek tail light made up of single horizontal element and nine vertical lines. The chrome strip running across the tailgate enhance the looks of the sedan.

The interior of the new Audi A6 now comes with a black-panel design theme with sleek proportions. The centre console is equipped with two 8.6-inch MMI touch display which is the prominent highlight of the interior. The cabin also offers more legroom as compared to the previous model.
The new Audi A6 will be offered with mild hybrid technology which includes belt alternator starter (BAS) and lithium-ion battery. Initially, the new-gen A6 will be offered with two engine options, a 3-litre V6 petrol and diesel engine.
The new Audi A6 petrol, powered by a 3-litre V6 turbocharged engine churns out 335bhp and 500Nm of torque. The 3-litre diesel unit is good for 282bhp and 620Nm of peak torque. Both the engines are mated to a 7-speed automatic S Tronic gearbox as standard and an optional 8-speed automatic Tiptronic gearbox.
The new Audi A6 can sprint from 0-100km/h in just 5.1 seconds and can reach a top speed of 250km/h. The new A6 comes with four suspension configurations: standard, sport, adaptive damper control as optional and fully adaptive air suspension also as an optional feature. The new sedan also gets 21-inch wheels and new aluminium fixed brake callipers on the front axle.

The new eighth-gen Audi A6 sports a new and refreshed exterior design, new technology and revamped interior design. The new A6 will make its public debut at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show. The new-gen Audi A6 is likely to hit the Indian shores by early 2019. The new Audi A6 will lock horns with the likes of Mercedes-Benz E-Class and BMW 5 Series.
