Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupe unveiled at 2018 Geneva Motor Show.
Mercedes-Benz's performance car division AMG has revealed its latest production model, the GT 4-door Coupe.
The top-spec GT63 S 4Matic+ is powered by a 638bhp twin-turbocharged 4-litre V8 petrol engine, which is capable of sprinting the Coupe from 0-100kph in 3.2 seconds with a top speed of 315kph.
The Mercedes-AMG GT 4-door Coupe is the fifth dedicated model from Mercedes-AMG after the SLS Coupe and Roadster and the GT Coupe and Roadster.
Visually, the Mercedes-AMG GT 4-door Coupe looks similar to the new CLS than the coupe it shares the name with.
AMG's designers have done an excellent job of making sure the 4-door GT looks like a proper AMG.
Inside the Mercedes-AMG GT 4-door Coupe, the car borrows heavily from other modern Mercedes sedans but gets unique design cues to set it apart.
Under the hood, the base variant AMG GT 53 uses a 48-volt mild hybrid powertrain as the other new 53-series models.

The AMG GT 53 is powered by a 3.0-litre I6 engine producing 428bhp and 521Nm of torque and is mated to an EQ Boost electric motor which adds another 20bhp and 250Nm of torque.
The engine is mated to a 9-speed AMG Speedshift automatic gearbox which sends power via the 4Matic+ all-wheel drive.
Mercedes claims the GT 53 can sprint to 100kph in 4.4 seconds with a top speed of 280kph.
All AMG GT 4-door models come with excellent features such as stop/start, stability control, and more. However, instead of fixed buttons, the new console uses colour display buttons, with capacitive switches for audio volume and the various driving modes.
Similar to the new Mercedes-Benz E-Class and S-Class, the AMG GT 4-door features a pair of 12.3-inch digital displays.
The 12.3-inch digital displays reveal the latest COMAND infotainment system, with reconfigurable layouts and multiple menus housing various vehicle settings and controls.
Additionally, there's also a new AMG Track Pace feature, which captures and analyses several vehicle-specific performance data along with lap times.
