Mahindra XUV500 Facelift Interior Leaked; Expected Launch, Price, Specs And Features
Mahindra is all set to launch the new facelifted XUV500 in India.
Mahindra & Mahindra is all set to launch the new updated version of the XUV500 in the country. Now, TeamBHP has got hold of the interior images of the XUV500 facelift. The 2018 Mahindra XUV500 gets an updated interior as compared to the outgoing model.
The interior of the XUV500 facelift gets new tan-coloured leather seat upholstery with diamond stitching and an all-black theme for the dashboard with silver accents on the centre console. The upper portion of the dashboard gets a faux leather finish soft-touch material.
The centre console of the new Mahindra XUV500 features faux-aluminium and a piano-black finish. Apart from that the rest of the switchgear is identical to the current-gen model except for the gloss finish on the rotary dials.

The 2018 Mahindra XUV500 features silver accents on the gear knob, steering wheel, handbrake lever and centre armrest. The twin-pod instrument cluster also remains unchanged and the new model also features aluminium pedals.
Mahindra is expected to update the infotainment system on the 2018 XUV500 and the spy image also reveals a set of tweeters on the A-pillar. Recently, we have already reported about the exterior design of the new XUV500 which now comes with several changes.
The facelifted XUV500 gets an updated front and rear end with a new front grille, revamped headlamps with projector lights, triangular tail light cluster, a chrome strip on the boot lid and a redesigned rear bumper.The new XUV500 also features roof-mounted spoiler, rear wiper and a defogger.
The new 2018 Mahindra XUV500 is likely to draw power from the updated 2-litre four-cylinder diesel engine churning out 168bhp and 350Nm of torque. The report also states that the facelifted XUV500 might be launched on April 18, 2018.
Thoughts On The Mahindra XUV500 Facelift
The new facelifted Mahindra XUV500 features a revamped front and rear profile which gives the SUV a refreshed look. The interior also gets a considerable amount of updates to keep up with the current market trend.
Expect the pricing to be in the range of Rs 13 lakh to Rs 18 lakh ex-showroom. When launched, the new 2018 Mahindra XUV500 will lock horns with the likes of Renault Captur and the Hyundai Creta.
