Audi Q5 launched in India. Prices for the new Audi Q5 starts at Rs. 53.25 lakh ex-showroom (India). The second-generation Q5 is the mid-size SUV in Audi's lineup, and it debuted at the 2016 Paris Motor Show.

New Audi Q5 Engine & Specifications
The all-new Audi Q5 is powered by the existing 2-litre turbocharged, diesel engine producing 187bhp at 3,800-4,000rpm and 400Nm of torque at 1,750-3,000rpm. The engine is coupled to a new 7-speed S Tronic automatic gearbox delivering power to all the four wheels via Quattro all-wheel-drive system. The Audi Q5 returns a claimed mileage of 17.01kpl.

The new Audi Q5 SUV sprints from 0-100kph in 7.9 seconds and has a top speed of 218kph. The new-gen Q5 shares its underpinnings with the current-gen A7 and is based on the MLB Evo platform.
The new platform has resulted in the reduction of weight by up to 90kg and also the SUV is longer, wider and taller with enhanced boot space. The new Audi Q5 also features roomier interior.
New Audi Q5 Design And Features
On the design front, the new Audi Q5 features company's signature single-frame grille, Matrix LED headlamps and sporty bonnet. The rear profile of the SUV sports roof-mounted spoiler, redesigned bumper, rear diffuser and LED tail lights.
Inside, the new Audi Q5 features a leather or leatherette upholstery, three-spoke leather steering wheel with gearshift paddles and electrically adjustable front seats with driver side memory.
The new second-gen Audi Q5 also sports 12.3-inch Audi Virtual Cockpit display with Classic and Progressive views, 8.3-inch MMI display, Audi smartphone interface for Apple and Android phones, Audi Phone Box with wireless charging, Audi sound system with 10-speakers and 10GB Jukebox for storing music.
The new-gen Audi Q5 comes with Audi Drive Select with five driving modes: Comfort, Dynamic, Auto, Individual and Off-road. Other features on the new Audi Q5 include three-zone automatic air conditioner, adaptive suspension with damping control, panoramic sunroof, electrically operated boot lid and cruise control with speed limiter function.
The new Audi Q5 comes loaded with safety features including eight airbags, Audi parking system plus with rearview camera, active lane assist, collision avoidance assist, park assist, blind spot warning and much more.

The new-gen Q5 is the first launch from Audi India in 2018, and the mid-size SUV features a refreshed look with a revamped front end and interior. The Q5 will be a crucial product for the German automaker in India and will lock horns with the likes of Mercedes-Benz GLC, Land Rover Discovery Sport, BMW X3 and newly launched Volvo XC60.
