Swedish auto major Volvo has teased the new XC60 ahead of its debut at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show. The crossover model will be unveiled on March 7, 2017.

Volvo has teased the new XC60 crossover on its official Facebook page by revealing the front end of the vehicle to stir up the excitement. But you have to wait until March 7 to see the SUV in full flesh.

The front fascia of the Volvo XC60 inherits an interpretation of the "Thor's Hammer" headlights as seen on other models such as XC90, S90, and the V90. The front end looks like the scaled-down version of its larger sibling.

It is expected that the new XC60 will draw power from a 2-litre four-cylinder engine with a choice of a single turbocharger or twin turbos.

The larger siblings of the XC60 such as the XC90, S90, V90's T8 trim features a hybrid powertrain with a combined power output of around 400bhp. But the XC60 being a mid-sized SUV, Volvo might come up with a lesser capacity hybrid powertrain.
