Volkswagen Vento Highline Plus Arrives At Dealerships; Price Revealed

Volkswagen India has added a top-of-the-line variant to its entry-level Vento sedan lineup. The variant is named as Vento Highline Plus and is positioned above the Volkswagen Vento Highline.

The Highline Plus model of the popular sedan was available in the Indian market earlier, but it was discontinued by the marque later. Now, this is like a resurrection of the top variant in the Indian market.

The all-new Vento Highline Plus features full-LED headlamps with DRLs and reverse parking camera. Other than these two updates, the Highline Plus model gets all the pieces of equipment that are offered in the Highline variant.

The 2017 Vento Highline Plus variant is a bit expensive than the Highline trim and is priced around Rs 80,000 over the current top trim. The first batch of the new variant has already started hitting the dealership which is TSI DSG gearbox-equipped models. The booking amount for the top model is Rs 75,000.

The Vento Highline Plus will compete against the likes of Honda City top variant which is the ZX trim. The Japanese carmaker is also going to launch the facelifted City in India soon.
