Volkswagen To Launch Vento AllStar Edition In India
Volkswagen is all set to introduce the Vento AllStar edition in India during this year's festive season.
German automaker Volkswagen is all set to update the Vento in India. AutosArena reports that the company will introduce the AllStar edition of the sedan by this year's festive season.
The Vento AllStar edition will be based on the Comfortline trim and will be offered in both petrol and diesel engine options. Similar to the Polo AllStar, the Vento AllStar will be available in new Blue Silk paint scheme.
Apart from that, the Vento AllStar will also feature new Linas alloy wheels, aluminium pedals, black and grey interior, new seats ((Pentastripe fabric), leather wrapped handbrake lever and AllStar badge on the scuff plate.
The Vento AllStar edition will be launched to celebrate Volkswagen's 10th anniversary in the Indian market. The company will also conduct Volksfest which will commence from September 2017 and will continue till October second week.

Earlier this year, Volkswagen introduced a new Highline Plus variant of the Vento in the country. The new variant was equipped with LED headlamps and DRLs, 16-inch alloy wheels and new 6.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system with connectivity options.
The engine options on the Vento include a 1.6-litre and 1.2-litre petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel motor. The 1.6-litre petrol engine is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox, whereas the 1.2-litre engine comes with 7-speed DSG gearbox. The diesel engine gets both the transmission options.

Previously in 2016, Volkswagen launched the Polo AllStar edition with similar updates. Now, with the introduction of the Vento AllStar, the company is looking to boost the sales of the sedan in India with additional new features.
