Volkswagen Unveils Gen.E Concept
German automaker Volkswagen has unveiled the Gen.E concept at the Future Mobility Days event in Germany.
German automaker Volkswagen has unveiled the Gen.E concept at the Future Mobility Days event in Germany. The concept vehicle will serve as a testing platform for the company's electric vehicle plans.
The Gen.E looks like a futuristic next-generation Golf. The car features sculpted body, raked rear windshield, rear view cameras and slim headlamps.

The electric hatchback is aerodynamically designed with a low frontal area and the vanes integrated to the C-pillar of the car. The Gen.E is said to have an overall range of 400km.
As per emerging reports, the Volkswagen Gen.E is based on the new lightweight platform designed for maximum crash protection. But Volkswagen is yet to comment on the new research vehicle.
