Spied: Volkswagen T-Roc SUV Spotted Testing At The Green Hell
The Volkswagen T-Roc SUV is currently being put through its paces ahead of its unveiling later this year.
The Volkswagen T-Roc SUV has been spotted testing at the Nurburgring as the German automaker puts the Polo-based SUV through its paces ahead of its official unveiling later this year.

The prototype T-Roc spotted at the Nurburgring sported heavy camouflage as it hammered its way around the infamous Green Hell. The T-Roc looked to be undergoing stability tests as its swerved around on the straight and moved about as it took corners while sporting a large set of alloy wheels.

The T-Roc is based on the next-generation Polo and will share the same platform and powertrain options as the hatchback. Various reports also suggest that Volkswagen may bring in a GTI version of the compact SUV with a 200hp engine residing under the bonnet.
The T-Roc isn't expected to change much in regards to design from the concept car that previewed it 3 years ago. Volkswagen last month released a teaser video showing a camouflaged T-Roc.
The video (seen below) showed off roof rails and panoramic roof and teased some off-road kits similar to the ones for the Tiguan.
The new T-Roc will compete with the likes of the Ford EcoSport and the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza when it does come to India.
