Madly Modified Volkswagen Pickup Truck Is A Jet-Engine Monster
A 1958 Volkswagen farm truck has been transformed into a jet engine flame throwing monster. The truck is powered by a Rolls-Royce jet engine.
Old is gold is a popular proverb. And why we are saying it is because this old rusted Volkswagen pickup truck has got a new life and is a flame throwing monster.
British inventor Perry Watkins has transformed this old Volkswagen pickup truck into a jet engine beast. The truck is capable of reaching insane speeds of over 480km/h thanks to its flame-throwing jet engine.
The monster truck is named as Oklahoma Willy. The life of this truck started as a 1958 model farm truck. The truck was in bad condition when Watkins picked it up. He replaced 68 panels, doors and the chassis itself.
After the restoration of the truck, Watkins replaced the engine with a 5,000bhp Rolls-Royce jet engine. The project took five years to complete, and this video shows the brutal power of the jet engine.
Watkinson took the truck for a spin to the Santa Pod drag strip in Bedfordshire. The truck can be seen roaring down the track with massive flames from the engine.
