Volkswagen Organizes GTI Experience Drive For Customers In Bangalore
Volkswagen India organised a track day event for its customers to experience the new GTI hot hatchback.
German carmaker Volkswagen today, organised a customised drive event for its customers in Bangalore to experience the GTI hot hatchback.
The Volkswagen GTI is the fastest car on sale in India that bears the badge of the world's largest carmaker and is powered by a 1.8-litre turbocharged engine that produces 189bhp and 250Nm of torque.
The GTI will sprint to 100km/h from standstill in just 7.1 seconds and has a top speed of 233km/h.
The experience drive which will conclude on Sunday, February 5 will see over 150 customers across the city experience a unique showcase of the power and safety features of the GTI while driving across the Meco Kartopia go-karting track in Bangalore.
The customer drive in Bangalore is the third such event that Volkswagen has organised in the country with previous editions taking place in the cities of Pune and Hyderabad.
After Bangalore, the Volkswagen GTI experience drive tour will hit Mumbai on the 11th and 12th of February. Select VW customers in the cities of Delhi, Ahmedabad, Chennai, and Coimbatore will be able to experience the GTI for themselves the following weekend.
