Volkswagen Reveals 2017 Lineup For India — Double Trouble Ahead For Rivals
The 2017 Volkswagen lineup for India is out and promises, even more, fun for fans of the German automotive giant in India.
Volkswagen has revealed Indian lineup for 2017 which includes the return of two premium VWs - the Passat and the new Tiguan SUV. Also revealed was the Polo GTI for 2017.

The Tiguan SUV is set to launch in India in the second quarter of the year. Based on Volkswagen's MQB platform, the new Tiguan for India will use a 2-litre diesel engine mated to a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox. The Tiguan will rival the Toyota Fortuner and the Ford Endeavour in India.

The other car set to return to India will be the all-new Passat sedan, which has not been seen for a while in India. The Passat, like the Tiguan will use VW's 2.0-litre TDi diesel engine along with a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox.

The third car of the lineup is the Volkswagen Polo GTI. Powered by a 1.8-litre turbocharged engine producing 189bhp.
