Volkswagen Appoints Patrik Riese As New MD And CEO For VW Finance

German carmaker Volkswagen has appointed Patrik Riese as the new CEO and Managing Director for the company's finance division. Riese took up the new role at the beginning of this month, July 1 onward.

Riese has over 26 years of experience in the automotive industry, having held the position of Managing Director, Volkswagen Financial Services South Africa, and Sweden.

Riese has held leadership positions in sales and marketing in global markets such as Europe, North and South America, and Africa. He is also a graduate of the Business School at the University of Gothenburg.
