Volkswagen Teases 2017 Polo Through Video Series
Volkswagen has released a series of three videos to tease the new sixth-gen Polo before its launch in the second fiscal this year.
The 2017 Volkswagen Polo has already received rave reviews for its design and good looks, from automotive media across the world. It was just last month that the car was spotted testing while completely undisguised and images of the car were soon found on almost all automotive media websites.
However, Volkswagen appears to be thinking otherwise, as they are continuing with their teasers for the upcoming car. Volkswagen has released a series of videos that are would surely make VW enthusiasts nostalgic and maybe even emotional to an extent.
The first video, ‘The Volkswagen Polo - What Defines it?' shows some of the defining characteristics that made the Polo what it is today - one of the world's best-selling cars.
The second video, ‘The Volkswagen Polo - Top Class' shows how the Polo started off as a small car and is now the best in its class.
The third video, ‘Pure Fun' well, as the title suggests, tries to show how much fun it can be to drive a Polo.

Volkswagen has done well in instilling those nostalgic feels, using the previous generations of the cars in the videos, and then arriving at the new sixth-generation Polo's silhouette. They might as well have put the picture of the upcoming car in, as we have already seen it.

The front end of the sixth-gen Volkswagen Polo features redesigned headlamps, LED DRLs and redesigned bumper with chrome inserts as well. The hatchback looks sportier as well, courtesy the additional creases along the body line.

The tapered roof towards the rear only adds to the sensuality of the car. The new Mk 6 Volkswagen Polo is underpinned by the MQB platform, and will be available globally with a range of powertrain options.

Petrol powered variants are likely to be powered by 1.5-litre or 2.0-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder engines, and diesel powered variants are likely to be powered by 1.2-litre and 2.0-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder oil-burners. The sixth-generation Polo is expected to go on sale in the second fiscal of 2017.
