The Renault Captur will sport all the ingredients of a compact SUV such as plastic cladding on the side, skid plates at the front and rear as well as the high riding position of an SUV.Renault has not revealed the interiors or the engine specifications of the Captur. We expect the Captur to feature a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system seen in the Duster. Also, the Captur could come with automatic climate control and a multifunctional steering wheel.

Mechanically, the India-spec Renault Captur is expected to be offered with 1.5-litre petrol and diesel units. The engine will come mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox, and an automatic gearbox will be added later.
