With every automaker wanting to increase their presence in the growing car and bike industry in India, the year 2017 has witnessed some of the best cars launches.
The coming months are going to be exciting as well with new car launches in India. From carmakers such as Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Renault, Ford among others are lining up some of the best products for the country.

Renault Captur
Renault India unveiled its global model Captur, pronounced 'Capture,' in India and will be positioned as a premium SUV. The Captur is based on the Duster's M0 platform with a host of premium features.
The Renault Captur will be powered by the familiar K9K 1.5-litre diesel engine and the Duster's new 1.5-litre petrol unit. Both the units will come mated to a manual gearbox, with the automatic gearbox and 4WD models arriving at a later date. The Captur will rival the likes of Hyundai Creta and the Jeep Compass petrol model.

Ford EcoSport Facelift
The Ford EcoSport was one of the first compact SUVs to be launched in India. Now, the American carmaker will launch the facelifted EcoSport in India with cosmetic updates as well as features and a new 1.5-litre diesel engine.
Along with a new front fascia, the EcoSport facelift's cabin has been revised as well. Inside the new EcoSport, there is a new dashboard which now houses a new and large touchscreen infotainment system.

The Ford EcoSport facelift will continue to be powered by the 1.0-litre EcoBoost petrol and the 1.5-litre diesel engines, though a new 1.5-litre, three-cylinder petrol unit from Ford's Dragon series will replace the existing 1.5-litre petrol unit.

Mahindra Scorpio Facelift
Mahindra Scorpio facelift has been spotted testing in India several times. While the new Scorpio facelift will receive a new front fascia, the interior details are still unknown, but we expect new switchgear and upholstery.
The significant change to the Scorpio facelift will be in its mechanicals. Mahindra is expected to launch the Scorpio facelift with the 2.2-litre diesel engine with higher power output. The company is also considering to equip the facelifted Scorpio with a 2.2-litre petrol unit which is under development for the Mahindra XUV500.

Mahindra XUV500 Facelift
Mahindra will launch the refreshed XUV500 with minor tweaks to the design and equipment. Apart from its looks, the company will introduce the much-awaited petrol engine in its flagship SUV.
Also, the existing 2.2-litre diesel unit powering the XUV500 will receive a bump in power by 40bhp, up from 139bhp to 189bhp. With the revised engine setup for the new XUV500, the SUV is expected to be more powerful and can compete with petrol SUVs in India.

New Maruti Swift
Suzuki unveiled the third-generation Swift hatchback back in 2016, with the new Swift set to hit the international markets during 2017. The all-new Maruti Swift is sharper and sportier than the current model. Suzuki has overhauled the Swift entirely with new exterior and interiors.
For India, Maruti will continue to offer the new Swift with the current engine lineup of 1.2-litre petrol and 1.3-litre diesel units. We expect Maruti Suzuki to offer the new Swift with AMT gearbox as well.

Hyundai i20 Facelift
With the Hyundai Verna facelift launched in India, it was just a matter of time; the South Korean carmaker refreshed the i20 hatchback as well. The new i20 facelift will follow Hyundai's new design language with a prominent front grille design.
