Italian supercar maker Pagani is producing only twenty examples of the Huayra BC. And one of them has crashed in Rome and ended up under a truck.
The accident took place on March 23, 2017, on Italy's Grande Raccordo Anulare highway. The Pagani Huayra slid under the back of a truck. By taking a closer at the images, the hypercar has suffered severe damage.
However, there is no information on the occupants of the Huayra BC. But the passenger cell is not affected by the crash. The accident caused a traffic block for about an hour.
Judging by the photos of the crash, it may look like the 2.5 million dollar Huayra has not suffered severe damage. But the owner of the car will be treated with a hefty bill to pay.
Previously, a Pagani Huayra Pearl was crashed in Paris, and the company successfully repaired the car. So, it should be the same with this Huayra BC.
Pagani has expanded its factory, and it should be an easy job for the car maker to fix the car. But it is a sad site for any auto enthusiast to see such a rare machine being wrecked.
