Toyota Reveals Yaris Ativ Sedan
Japanese automaker Toyota has revealed the new Yaris Ativ sedan.
Japanese automaker Toyota has revealed the new Yaris Ativ sedan. Initially, the sedan will be sold in the Thailand market.
The Yaris Ativ shares most of its components with the more premium Vios, but the new car features different exterior design in line with the new-gen Toyota sedans.
The front fascia of the Toyota Yaris Ativ features wide grille, projector headlights, LED daytime running lights and fog lamps. The headlight and the grille are similar to the facelifted Corolla.
The side profile of the Yaris Ativ sedan sports prominent creases running across the doors and chrome finished door handles. The rear of the sedan features larger tail lights with LED elements and curved tail gate.

The interior of the Yaris Ativ features 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Optitron instrument panel with 4.2-inch MID, leather wrapped steering wheel and gear knob and six speaker music system.
The Toyota Yaris Ativ draws power from a 1.2-litre petrol engine producing 86bhp and 108Nm of torque. The engine is coupled to a CVT-I gearbox. The safety features on the sedan include dual front airbags, ABS, traction control, stability control and hill start assist.

Toyota has unveiled its new Yaris Ativ sedan which will be slotted below the more expensive Vios. The new sedan is developed for emerging markets. If at all Toyota brings the Yaris Ativ to India, it will be an inexpensive alternative to cars like Honda City, Nissan Sunny and Maruti Suzuki Ciaz.
