Toyota is all set to launch the Fortuner TRD Sportivo in the Indian market.
Japanese automaker Toyota is all set to introduce a new variant of the Fortuner SUV in India. Autocar India reports that the Fortuner TRD Sportivo will be launched in the country.
The Toyota Fortuner TRD Sportivo 2WD AT will be priced at Rs 31.43 lakh ex-showroom (Mumbai). The deliveries of the new variant of the SUV will commence soon.
Similar to the globally sold model, the India-spec Fortuner TRD Sportivo will feature blacked-out elements instead of chrome parts seen on the standard variant of the SUV. It also gets an additional body kit with side skirts and extended chin.
The front fascia of the Fortuner TRD Sportivo sports a blacked-out grille which extends over the bumper and integrates with the air dam. The grille also gets red TRD logo. The fog lamp housing is also blacked-out and gets new skirting.

The Fortuner TRD Sportivo will draw power from the existing 2.8-litre diesel engine which is seen on the standard variant. The diesel motor produces 174bhp and 420Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic gearbox.
