Tata Motors has been developing battery powered electric vehicles with TMETC leading the project. The Tiago EV is expected to borrow massively from the Bolt BEV prototype, the electric version of the Bolt hatchback.
The company has not revealed the specifications of the Tata Tiago EV, but we expect it to be efficient and to cost lower, knowing Tata Motors have always relied on low-cost vehicles.
Tata Motors has tasted success with the Tiago hatchback, and it is the right step forward for the company to utilise the Tiago platform for the EV.
