Tata Tiago Is In High Demand — Achieves 1 Lakh Bookings
Indian automaker Tata Motors’ hatchback Tiago has achieved 1 lakh bookings in the Indian market.
Indian automaker Tata Motors' hatchback Tiago has achieved 1 lakh bookings in the Indian market. Launched in 2016, the hatchback features Impact Design philosophy.
Since its inception, over 65,000 Tiago's are on-road. The top-of-the-range model is in demand among the first-time car buyers in the country. The company has also launched the AMT variant which is also getting positive feedback.
The Tiago has been designed with inputs from the Pune, UK and Italy design studios. The hatchback is manufactured at the company's Sanand manufacturing facility. The manufacturing is at its maximum capacity to meet the supply demands.
Tata Tiago is offered with two engine options, a 1.2-litre petrol engine and a 1.05-litre diesel engine. The car also features two drive modes - City and Eco. Both the engines are designed to deliver a peppy driving experience and fuel economy.
