The SUV gets an all-new 1.5-litre diesel engine which produces 108 bhp of power and 260 Nm of peak torque. On the other hand, the 1.2-litre Revotron petrol engine 108 bhp and 170 Nm of torque. Both the engines are mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox, with an AMT in the process for coming days
Tata Nexon comes with features like - ground clearance of 209 mm, 16-inch machine-cut alloy wheels, Projector headlamps with DRLs, Eight speaker Harman 6.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto, Electric Power assisted steering, dual path suspension, sculpted bucket seats, a remote key with electric tailgate unlock & approach lamps etc.
The Nexon goes up against the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Ford Ecosport, Hyundai Creta and Renault Duster. The Nexon SUV is based on the company's new IMPACT design language. The new Tata Nexon is available with a total of five color options - Moroccan blue, Vermont red, Seattle silver, Glasgow grey and Calgary white.
As for the safety, it comes with ISOFIX Child system for rear seats, dual front airbags, and anti-lock braking system with corner stability control as standard across all variants. The SUV is available for a starting price of Rs 5.85 lakh and goes all the way up to 9.45 lakh. Both the prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.
