Spy Pics: Tata Nano Electric Car Spied Testing In Coimbatore

Tata Motors seems to be trying to revive the fortunes of the Tata Nano. Recently, the Tata Nano electric car was spotted testing in Coimbatore.
Team BHP spotted the Tata Nano electric car being tested in the Nano GenX bodywork. The Nano electric vehicle in the spy images looks just like the regular Nano with internal combustion engine; however, a sticker with '4BNEV-A08' on the window points to the electric version of the Tata Nano.
The Tata Nano electric car is expected to feature an electric motor powered by lithium-ion batteries; however, there are no clear details of the specification of the Tata Nano electric vehicle.
Tata Motors has been developing its electric powertrain technology at the Tata Motors European Technical Centre in the U.K. Recently, the Tata Tiago electric vehicle and the Bolt EV were showcased at an event.
