Tata Motors Launches BS-IV Compliant Commercial Vehicles In Tamil Nadu
India’s leading commercial vehicles manufacturer, Tata Motors has launched its new BS IV-ready medium and heavy duty trucks in Tamil Nadu.
Leading Indian commercial vehicles manufacturer Tata Motors has launched its BS-IV compliant medium and heavy duty trucks which feature 'exhaust gas recirculation' (EGR) and 'selective catalytic reduction'.
Tata Motors showcased over 20 models of its BS IV compliant trucks in the city of Salem on Thursday to local transporters at the Truck World expo.
Tata is the only Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) to offer both EGR and SCR technologies for its entire range of commercial vehicles including its Medium and Heavy commercial vehicles. SCR technology now allows Tata Motors to develop upcoming emission compliant product solutions.
Rajesh Kaul, Head, Sales and Marketing, Medium and Heavy Commercial Vehicles stated that Tata Motors, which has been exporting its products to Russia, Australia, Europe, South East Asia and Latin America, already has trucks that are compliant with Euro IV and Euro V emission norms.
Kaul said"Over the last six decades we at Tata Motors have led technology shifts in the Indian medium & heavy duty trucking space, having developed futuristic products and solutions ahead of its time."
