Tata Motors Group Global Wholesales Grew By Four Percent In December 2016
Tata Motors Group has witnessed a growth of four percent in global wholesale in the month of December 2016.
The Tata Motors Group witnessed a growth in global wholesales in the month of December 2016.
The global wholesales including Jaguar Land Rover, were at 95,081 units in December 2016, higher by four percent compared to the same period of 2015. Cumulative wholesales for the fiscal were 8,22,807 units, higher by nine percent over FY 2015-16.
Global wholesales of all Tata Motors' commercial vehicles and Tata Daewoo range in December 2016 were 30,879 units, lower by five percent compared to December 2015. Cumulative commercial vehicles wholesales for the fiscal were 2,84,681 units, higher by four percent, over financial year 2015-16.
Global wholesales of all passenger vehicles in December 2016 were at 64,202 units, a growth of eight percent compared to December 2015. Cumulative passenger vehicle wholesales for the fiscal were 5,38,126 vehicles, higher by six percent, over FY15-16.
Tata Motors Group sold 53,063 units of Jaguar Land Rover vehicles in the global market in December 2016, which also includes 8,184 units from CJLR. Jaguar wholesales for the month were 15,879 vehicles, and cumulative wholesales were 1,26,661 vehicles.
Whereas Land Rover sold 37,184 vehicles and its cumulative sales figures were 2,95,633 vehicles. Cumulative wholesales for Jaguar Land Rover for the fiscal were 4,22,294 vehicles.
