Suzuki Swift Sport Salon Version Revealed — To Debut At 2018 Tokyo Auto Salon
Suzuki has revealed the Swift Sport Auto Salon Version ahead of its debut at the 2018 Tokyo Auto Salon.
Japanese automaker Suzuki has revealed the Swift Sport Auto Salon Version ahead of its debut at the 2018 Tokyo Auto Salon in January 2018.
The Swift Sport Salon Version features several cosmetic updates which enhance the looks of the hot hatch. We expect it to be a limited edition model.
The Suzuki Swift Sport Salon Version is based on the 2018 Swift Sport hatchback.The special edition car features a new matte black paint scheme. The front lip spoiler and side skirts get red detailing. The ORVMs are also finished in red colour.

The radiator grille opening surrounds are finished in satin grey colour. On the side profile, the Swift Sport Salon Version gets red detailing, Sport branding on the rear door, sporty decals and newly designed black alloy wheels.The roof of the car is finished in gloss black.
The global-spec Suzuki Swift Sport draws power from a 1.4-litre Boosterjet engine producing 138bhp and 230Nm of torque. The turbocharged petrol unit comes mated to a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox. The Sport variant of the hatchback is offered only in a front-wheel-drive configuration.
The Suzuki Swift Sport will make its India debut at the 2018 Auto Expo along with the regular variant of the hatchback. The third-generation Swift will be launched in India in 2018, which is likely to happen at the Auto Expo in February.
The India-spec Maruti Swift will draw power from the existing 1.2-litre petrol and 1.3-litre diesel engine churning out 82bhp and 74bhp respectively. The transmission options include a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed automatic gearbox.
