The Skoda Kodiaq has been spotted testing once again in India ahead of its launch.
Czech carmaker Skoda's Kodiaq SUV has been spotted testing once again in India ahead of its launch in the country.

The Kodiaq is the first ever attempt by Skoda to build a full-fledged 7-seater SUV and is based on the Concept S revealed at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show. The prototype caught on camera by team-bhp shows off the major design highlights of the car including the interiors of the car.

The interiors of the Kodiaq look quite similar to the ones seen on the SUV in International markets with a central infotainment display flanked by two vertical HVAC units. Also seen is the three-spoke steering wheel with mounted controls for the infotainmentsystem and the DSG automatic gearbox.

The Skoda Kodiaq for India will be powered by 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol and diesel engines which will be mated to either the DSG gearbox or a 6-speed manual. Four-wheel-drive will be offered with the higher specced versions of the SUV.
The Kodiaqis expected to launch in India in the month of September and will compete with the likes of the Ford Endeavour and the Toyota Fortuner.
