Skoda Kodiaq Launched In India At Rs 34,49,501
Skopda Kodiaq launched In India. The Kodiaq is the first-ever 7-seater SUV from Skoda.
Skoda Kodiaq launched in India. The Skoda Kodiaq is priced at Rs 34,49,501 ex-showroom (India) and the SUV is avaialble only in the Style 4x4 AT variant in India.
Deliveries of the Kodiaq will start in the first week of November and Skoda is offering the SUV with 4 years warranty, roadside assistance and maintenance for an additional Rs 59,999.
Skoda Kodiaq Specifications & Mileage
The Skoda Kodiaq is powered by a turbocharged, 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine which is mated to a seven-speed DSG automatic gearbox. The Skoda Kodiaq's diesel engine produces 148bhp at 3,500-4,000rpm and 340Nm of torque at 1,750-3,000rpm.
Power is sent to all four wheels via the 7-speed automatic gearbox and the Borg Warner on-demand 4x4 system. The Skoda Kodiaq returns a mileage of 16.25kpl.
The Kodiaq is 4,697mm long, 1,882mm wide and stands 1,665mm tall and has a ground clearance of 188mm (unladen). The boot has a volume of 270-litres which can be expanded to 2,005-litres by folding the second and third row of seats down.

Skoda Kodiaq Design & Features
The Skoda Kodiaq features a modern European design with sharp & strong character lines while retaining Skoda's design highlights including the butterfly grille up front. The grille is larger than ever on the Kodiaq and is flanked by full LED headlights. Underneath the headlights, on the front bumper sit the LED fog lamps which also act as cornering lights.
The Skoda Kodiaq sports squared off wheelarches which play host to 18-inch alloy wheels that are shod with 235/55 R18 tyres. A line runs across the side of the Kdoiaq connecting the healamps to the sharp C-shaped LED tail lights. The bootlid features a concave cutout which gives the tail lamps a 3D-look.
Inside, the Kodiaq features leather upholstery with the seats up front featuring 12-way adjustment and memory function. The headrests for the seats on either end of the middle row of seats fold out which allows passengers to take a nap with ease on the go.
The Kodiaq comes fitted with an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system which is connected to a 12-speaker 750W Canton Audio system. The infotainment system sports Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and phone mirroring along with AUX, Bluetooth & multiple SD card support.
Other features on hand a massive panoramic sunroof, multiple storage spaces including two glove boxes, umbrellas in the front doors, door protectors and a magnetic torch that also acts a light for the boot.
Skoda has packed the Kodiaq with a host of safety features including 9 airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, electronic differential lock, traction control, electronic parking brake with auto hold function and the multi-collision braking system which applies the brakes to prevent or mitigate a subsequent impact.
