Report: Ford Mustang Facelift Indian Launch In Early 2018
The 2018 Ford Mustang gets a new front fascia that will feature a low-slung nose, LED headlamps and restyled front bumpers with new grille design.
American automaker Ford recently unveiled the 2018 model of its most popular car around the globe, the Mustang in the U.S. market. The big question is when will the 2018 Mustang hit the Indian shores?
According to a report by carandbike, the facelift Mustang will hit the Indian market in early 2018. The automaker has given some minor styling tweaks to its sixth-generation Mustang which was globally launched in 2015. This generation is the first to feature Right Hand Drive (RHD) variants.
Due to the introduction of RHD variants, Ford Mustang got a breakthrough in major car markets, such as Europe and Asia. The sixth-gen facelift model of Mustang will also feature some minor technical tweakings as well.
The 2018 Ford Mustang gets a new front fascia that will feature a low-slung nose, LED headlamps and restyled front bumpers with new grille design. From the side, the car looks exactly the same as the ongoing model. At the rear, the model gets a full LED taillights with a new design and a revised bumper.
Inside, the 2018 model features a 12-inch digital LCD instrument cluster, revised seat upholstery and a new infotainment system that comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
The 2018 Ford Mustang India-spec model will retain the same 5.0-litre V8 powerplant, but, it will come mated with a 10-speed automatic gearbox, rather than the 6-speed transmission which does the duty in the current model.
