French automaker Renault has teased a new concept car named as Symbioz ahead of its debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show on September 12, 2017.
The Renault Symbioz previews the automaker's vision of autonomous, electric and connected mobility by the year 2030.
By looking at the teaser image, we can say that the Symbioz will be a three-door hatchback featuring futuristic design and styling. The hatchback features LED tail lamps, short rear overhangs and unique door mechanism which opens upwards.
The concept is also equipped with a glass roof which covers the top half of the car to give a cockpit-like feeling. The name Renault SYMBIOZ is derived from 'sumbiōsis', the Ancient Greek word for 'living together.'
Renault states that the new concept car addresses the customer expectations for both mobility and lifestyle in the future. The concept model also allows the company to explore autonomous electric technology. The letter Z in Symbioz refers to the all-electric Z.E technology that powers the car.
