Renault Might Launch A Premium Hatchback In India To Replace Pulse
According to the reports Renault is working on a new project, a small premium hatchback which might be replacing the Pulse in the Indian market.
The Indian arm of the French car manufacturer Renault has already stated that it will introduce new products in the Indian market. Now reports suggest that a new premium hatchback is also in the pipeline.
The new small premium hatchback is expected to be slotted above the Kwid crossover. ETAuto reports that the new hatchback is already in the works and will be revealed in two or three years.
Although Renault has not confirmed the details about this project, but the manufacturer is looking at the segment above the Kwid. There are chances that the new hatchback could replace the currently sold Pulse.
The Renault Pulse has not been a performing product in the Indian market, so there will be no surprise if the company brings in a new model to replace the non-performing hatchback.
All the new products from Renault to be launched in India will be highly localised as the Kwid. The localisation of components has led to the competitive pricing which played a major role in Renault's success in India.
The new products from Renault are expected to be based on company's new flexible CMF-A platform. When launched the premium hatchback will rival the likes of Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai and Tata Motors.
Suzuki has revealed 2017 Swift hatchback which will be launched in the Indian market in near future. Checkout the photos of the hot hatchback by clicking the gallery below.
