This Made-In-India Car Is The Most Searched Brand In Google
The report by SilverPush revealed that Renault Kwid is the most searched in Google with 16.11 percent of search share, placing the Kwid among the top 5 brands on TV as well.
A study by SilverPush, a company which reports on user tracking and targeted advertising, has revealed in a recent report about the most searched car brand in India.
Made-in-India Renault Kwid was found to be the most searched car brand in Google with 16.11 percent search share alongside a significantly high presence on TV at 4.81 percent. With the study, Renault Kwid is placed among the top 5 brands on TV as well.
Honda appeared to be among the customers favourite as well with two of its models: Honda BR-V at 4.37 percent and Honda Jazz at 3.88 percent making it to the top 5 most searched brands on Google.
The study also revealed that in the luxury segment, Audi A6 Matrix was the most searched car brand in Google with 4.15 percent of search share.
Renault has been tasting success with the Kwid and the recent demonetization has not hampered its growth.
The French company revealed that the Kwid has been driving force behind its sales numbers for the month of December. Renault reported 9 percent growth for December mainly driven by the sales of the Kwid.
The Kwid has bagged over 1.65 lakh bookings and sales has crossed over 1 lakh in December 2016 since its launch in October 2015.
Some of the first-in-segment features like touchscreen infotainment system with navigation, remote keyless entry, driver's airbag, 180mm of ground clearance, among others. The Kwid also leads on the mileage front with class-leading 25.17km/l.
Renault is offering the Kwid in 800cc and 1.0-litre engine, while the 800cc engine is paired with the 5-speed manual gearbox, the 1.0-litre model has the option of 5-speed gearbox or the AMT gearbox. Renault has priced the Kwid competitively with starting price of Rs 2.65 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi).
