Renault Captur launched in India. Prices for the new Renault Captur start at Rs 9.99 lakh ex-showroom (India). Customers can book the new Renault crossover for Rs 25,000 using the new Captur app from Renault.
The Captur is a premium crossover from Renault that will compete with the likes of the Hyundai Creta and the Tata Hexa. The new Renault Captur is available in five colour options: Moonlight Silver, Planet Grey, Cayenne Orange, Mahogany Brown and Pearl White.

The Captur is offered in 4 trims with the top Platine variant coming only with a diesel option.Renault has launched the Captur at an introductory price of Rs 9.99 lakh for the base RXE petrol. Prices for the Diesel Captur start at Rs 11.39 lakhs.

Renault Captur Specifications & Mileage
The Renault Captur for India is powered by two 1.5-litre engines — a petrol and a diesel — both of which are borrowed from the Duster SUV.
The 1.5-litre petrol engine produces105bhp at 5,600rpm and 142Nm of torque at 4,000rpm and is paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The petrol Capturreturns a mileage of13.87kpl.
The diesel engine produces 119bhp at 4,000rpm and 240Nm of torque at 1750rpm and is paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox.The diesel Captur returns a mileage of 20.37kpl.
The all-new Renault Captur is 4,329mm long, 1,813mm wide, and 1,619mm tall. The wheelbase of the Renault Captur for India measures in at 2,673mm while the ground clearance is a class-leading 210mm. The new Captur has a 310-litre boot while the fuel tank can hold 50-litres of fuel.
Renault Captur Design & Features
The new Renault Captur crossover for India features a contemporary European design which looks premium. Up front, the grille is dominated a large Renault badge and a chrome top strip that connects the full-LED headlamps. The bumper house large C-Shaped fog lamps on either corner that are also LED units.
The new Capturfeatures pumped-up wheel arches which are connected to each other by a character line that runs across its sides. The wheel arches play host to 17-inch crystal cut alloy wheels.
At the rear, the Captur features LED taillights with a c-shaped light pattern while a chrome strip bearing the car's name runs above the section hosting the registration plate. The rear bumper like the front features a grey skid plate that also houses the exhaust.
Inside, the Captur features an all-new look with a dual-tone black and white theme. Higher-spec models also get gold and white inserts. The instrument cluster sports a twin-pod design along with a digital speedo.
Also present is a large infotainment display which features piano black surrounds and gets Bluetooth connectivity, voice recognition, and navigation support.
In terms of safety, the new Renault Captur features dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, Electronic Stability Control, Hill Start Assist and Brake Assist (BA).
