Red Bull Formula One team has added a T-wing to its 2017 car at the Monaco Grand Prix. The latest update is a part of the upgrade package of RB13.
The T-wing was allowed by a loophole in the regulations, and it is banned from 2018. Red Bull's rivals including Mercedes and Ferrari have already favoured the T-wing.

To close the gap to the front of the grid, Red Bull is on an aggressive approach towards the development of the car. At the Spanish Grand Prix, the team installed some updates and has more in store at the Monaco GP.

The T-wing was run by both the drivers in the practise session of Monaco GP, and it was the most visible element of the car. Renault is also adding the T-wing which means all the teams have opted for the T-wing.

Max Verstappen's Spanish GP ended in the very first lap. But he was optimised about the upgrades. He said, "I think it was a good step forward. Of course I didn't do the race, so I don't know how it was, but I felt good all weekend at Barcelona."

Red Bull had its most successful weekend in 2016 at the Monaco GP. Daniel Ricciardo was on pole but lost the race because of a pitstop blunder. But Verstappen is not sure whether the team can repeat that performance.

He added, "We are not in the same position as last year, let's say that. We always try to do our best and if you feel comfortable in the car, that's always a big plus as well around this track. We'll try to stay out of the walls."
