Land Rover Lifts The Veil On New Range Rover Model — Will This Drive The Macan Mad?
Land Rover has revealed the fourth model in the Range Rover lineup which will debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March.
Land Rover has revealed the fourth model in its Range Rover lineup. Called, the Range Rover Velar, the new luxury SUV will make its debut at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show.

The images released by Land Rover reveal the rear end of the new Velar, which looks like an evolution of the Evoque's design. The image also shows what looks to be a panoramic glass roof and a touchscreen display in the centre console.

The new Range Rover Velar will sit above the Range Rover Evoque and below the Range Rover Sport and the massive Range Rover. The new Velar looks set to take on the Porsche Macan but is also expected to retain all the superior go-anywhere capabilities of its larger siblings.

'Velar' is the name that given to top secret Range Rover prototypes in the 1960s and means 'veil' or 'cover' in Italian.
