PSA To Reveal Semi-Autonomous Cars in 2017
French automaker PSA Group has stated that it will reveal semi-autonomous cars in 2017.
French automaker PSA Group has stated that it will reveal its first semi-autonomous car this year and is expected to launch in 2018.
The DS 7 Crossback SUV will be the first vehicle to be equipped with Level-2 self-driving technology. DS Automobiles will also reveal the Citroen C5 Aircross in 2018. The company plans to introduce fully autonomous car by 2020.

The DS 7 will feature Level-2 'Connected Pilot' technology and will be able to maintain lane and park by itself under the advanced driver assistance system. PSA aims to introduce the Level-3 vehicles by 2020.
Currently, PSA is testing a fleet of 12 prototype vehicles Level-3 technology. The company is launching the autonomous vehicles under the banner, 'Autonomous Vehicles For All'. Gradually, the self-driving technology will be expanded to all the models.

PSA Group has become the addition to the list of companies to introduce self-driving technology. Audi is also geared up to launch the Level-2 self-driving A8 sedan and will introduce fully autonomous cars by 2020.
