Online taxi aggregator Ola, has hired Badri Raghavan as the company's new Chief Data Scientist. Badri raghavan is a seasoned data scientist with over 20 years of experience.
Raghavan's new role will include leading a team of scientists with cutting edge training in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Decision Analysis, Pattern Recognition, and related areas.
The team would work on various business platforms and departments to improve operational and business efficiencies ranging from demand and supply prediction, driver behaviour and performance management, and location Intelligence, according to the company statement.
Ola has established a strong foundation of data and analytics, since the company operates in over 100 cities and has more than 5 lakh driver partners on board.
