Hyundai To Introduce Next-Gen Tucson In 2020
Hyundai has revealed its plans about the next-gen Tucson SUV.
South Korean automaker Hyundai has revealed its plans to introduce the next-gen Tucson SUV in 2020.
Hyundai debuted the third-generation Tucson in 2015. In its first full year of sales, the SUV recorded a sales figure of 7.35 lakh units, making it the best-selling Hyundai SUV of the year.
As per emerging reports, Hyundai plans to introduce the redesigned Tucson in 2020, which suggests that the third-gen Hyundai Tucson might receive a facelift by the end of 2018. But no other details are revealed about the next-gen SUV.
Hyundai is also working on the Kona small SUV and the next-gen Santa Fe. It is expected that the all-new Tucson will feature striking new design and a host of advanced driver-assistance features.

Hyundai had already confirmed that the Kona represents the new design language for SUVs. Which means the new Tucson will feature composite lamps, wing type fenders, new rear light pod and black cladding.
Hyundai will also launch the next-gen Santa Fe in 2018, and the 7-seater version will be introduced in early 2019. The next-gen Creta is also expected to get a 7-seater variant.
Apart from that Hyundai has also confirmed its plans to develop a pickup truck based on the Santa Cruz concept for the US market. In India, the automaker will introduce its first compact SUV, the Carlino in 2019.

Hyundai is planning to revamp its utility vehicle product portfolio by 2021. So, the automaker will introduce updated and new SUVs. Hyundai will also develop pickup trucks for the global market which is unlikely to be introduced in the Indian market.
