All-New Volkswagen Polo Revealed In Leaked Images Ahead Of Debut
German automaker Volkswagen is all set to debut the new Polo in Berlin, ahead of that the photos of the car have been revealed.
German automaker Volkswagen is all set to debut its 2017 Polo hatchback. Ahead of that the first photos of the all-new Polo have emerged on the internet.
An official presentation will be held today in Berlin, and the 2017 Polo will be showcased at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September 2017.
Both the sporty R-line model and the performance variant GTI looks similar to the outgoing model. But the there are subtle changes done to the body, headlights and bumper. The new Polo features sloping roof and roof spoiler.
The Polo GTI gets bigger tyres and honeycomb grille and red detailing on the front. The interior is not yet revealed, but the overall quality will be better, and it is likely to sport a host of new features.
From the exterior, the 2017 Polo might be similar to the outgoing model. But under the skin, it's completely revamped. The sixth-generation Polo is based on the VW group's flexible MQB platform. The new hatchback is wider and longer.
The engine options on the new Polo include a 1-litre and 1.5-litre petrol engines and a 1.6-litre diesel engine available in different power bands. The GTI variant is likely to get a 2-litre engine churning out 197bhp.
