2017 Hyundai Verna India Launch Likely In August

Korean car maker Hyundai Motor Company launched the next-gen Verna in China last year. Now the company is launching the car in several other markets.
Now, as per emerging reports, the 2017 Hyundai Verna will be launched in the Indian market in August 2017. The facelifted Verna will be manufactured at Hyundai's Chennai production plant.
The 2017 facelifted Verna is based on the company's Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 design philosophy. The updated sedan gets a chrome lined cascading grille, projector headlamps with daytime running LED lights and a new front bumper.
The side profile of the car features coupe-like design and new 16-inch alloy wheels. The rear section of the car features split LED tail lights, boot lip spoiler and revamped bumper.
The India-spec 2017 Verna will be offered two petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol variant of the car is powered by 1.4-litre and 1.6-litre engines producing 106bhp and 121bhp respectively.
The diesel variant of the new Verna draws power from a 1.4-litre and 1.6-litre oil burners. Both the engines produce 89bhp and 126bhp respectively. A 5-speed manual and 6-speed manual gearbox are available in both petrol and diesel variants.
An optional 4-speed automatic gearbox is offered in both the petrol and diesel variants. The interior of the car features 7-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
The safety features on the new Verna include six airbags, ABS with EBD, traction control, electronic stability control, vehicle stability management and reverse parking camera.
