New Generation Land Rover Discovery India Launch Details Revealed
The next generation Land Rover Discovery India launch details has been revealed, and the company promises a lighter, more capable vehicle.
The fifth generation Land Rover Discovery is scheduled to launch in India in October, and the SUV is a crucial product for both, Land Rover and Tata Motors.
The new generation Land Rover Discovery is based on the Discovery Vision concept that made its debut at the 2014 New York Auto Show.
The production model of the new Discovery broke cover in the UK during September last year, before making its debut at the 2016 Paris Motor Show.
The new Discovery will be built on Land Rover's light full-size SUV architecture, and the company claims that the seven-seater SUV will be lighter, faster, and more capable than the model it replaces.
Regarding power, the new Discovery will draw life from a choice of either a 3.0-litre supercharged V6 petrol engine that develops 335bhp and 450Nm of torque or a six-cylinder diesel engine that makes 254bhp and 600Nm of torque.
Inside, the new Discovery gets high-quality dual tone finish, Intelligent Seat Fold technology that allows users to configure the second and third row, central touch screen and a 14-speaker Meridian sound system amongst others.
