New Chevrolet Beat India Launch Date Revealed
The second-generation Chevrolet Beat receives revised styling and all-new interiors.
Chevrolet is all set to launch the second-generation Beat hatchback in India in July this year. As per Autocar India, the new Beat is likely to be called Intelli Beat.
Globally, Chevrolet sells the Beat as Spark; however, the new Beat coming to India is an evolution of its predecessor. Post the launch of the new Beat, the carmaker will follow it with the launch of the Beat-Activ crossover and the Essentia compact sedan.
As for the design of the new Chevrolet Beat, the best-selling car for GM in India, is now smoothed out compared to the outgoing model.
The unique rear door handle on pillar will continue in the second-generation Beat. This unique feature is also seen in the Mahindra KUV-100 and the upcoming 2017 Maruti Suzuki Swift.
On the rear, the license plate has been moved to the bumper on the new Chevrolet Beat along with a larger taillamps.
The new Beat was supposed to be launched in India earlier this year; howver, it has been pushed to July. The Beat Essentia sedan has been delayed as well and expected to be launched post the new Chevrolet Beat launch in India.
