New Audi A4 35 TDI Diesel Variant Launched In India — The Most Powerful A4
New Audi A4 35 TDI diesel variant launched in India. Audi has claimed the new A4 delivers 7 percent better mileage compared to the older car.
The new Audi A4 35 TDI diesel variant has been launched in India, priced at Rs 40.20 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi). The petrol version of the A4 was launched earlier in September 2016.
The new Audi A4 35 TDI comes powered by a 2.0-litre, turbocharged four-cylinder diesel engine that makes 190bhp and 400Nm of peak torque. Audi claims that the new A4 returns an ARAI certified mileage of 18.25km/l, 7 percent more than the previous generation A4.
Speaking about the launch, Rahil Ansari, the Head of Audi India commented: "It is never an easy task to design a successor to a bestselling model, but that is precisely what makes the whole process so very exciting. With the all-new Audi A4 35 TDI, we are yet again setting the bar a notch higher."

The technology available on the earlier Audi A4 has been redeveloped so that it yet again defines the benchmark in the segment With a tremendous response received on A4 30 TFSI, we are now introducing A4 with a diesel which is even more powerful than the previous generation A4."
The new Audi will compete with the BMW 3 Series and the Mercedes-Benz C-Class in India.
