Mercedes Reveals Striking New Dashboard For Upcoming S-Class Facelift
The upcoming Mercedes S-Class facelift's striking new dashboard design has been revealed. The S-Class facelift will debut later this month.
Mercedes has taken the wraps of the dashboard of the upcoming S-Class facelift ahead of the car's debut later this month.

The images, the first official ones of the new S-Class show off the dashboard and the redesigned steering wheel of the upcoming car. However, do keep in mind that these images are of the Mercedes-Maybach variant of the S-Class.
The twin screens on the dashboard of the current S-Class have fused into one extra-wide display that acts as digital instrument cluster and as the infotainment screen. Also seen in the images is the steering wheels which sports a new look as well.

While the images reveal some of the changes in the new car, the most significant alterations in the facelifted S-Class come in the form of driving assistance systems that will debut on the model.
These driving assistance systems thanks to the improved camera and radar systems which get instructions from the maps will allow the new S-Clas to get closer to level 5 automation).

Other driving and safety include the Active Lane Change Assist from the new E-Class that allows the new car to pass other vehicles or change lanes on the highway just by using the indicator stalk.
Also present is Evasive Steering Assist which helps in evasive manoeuvres by applying extra steering torque in the direction the driver wants the car to move.

The new S-Class will debut later this month, but deliveries of the new luxury benchmark with its new inline-6 and V8 engines will only start in September.
