Mercedes-Maybach To Launch Luxury SUV In 2019
Mercedes-Maybach will launch a new SUV in 2019, based on the next generation GLS, which will have its own design touches.
The luxury SUV market is one place luxury carmakers are betting their money on, and the latest manufacturer that will soon join the league is Mercedes-Maybach.
Mercedes-Maybach will roll out a luxury SUV in 2019 that will rival competitors such as the Bentley Bentayga, Range Rover SV Autobiography Dynamic, and the upcoming Rolls-Royce Cullinan.
The luxury SUV will be based on the same underpinnings as the upcoming third generation Mercedes-Benz GLS, and the SUV will receive its own unique styling from the Maybach 6 Coupe concept.
The Mercedes-Maybach SUV will receive its own design touches such as a different front grille, headlamps, tail lamps, chrome touches, and wheel design. The SUV's overall layout could be a long wheel-base platform to offer more interior space, and seating could be for four.
On the engine front, the Mercedes-Maybach SUV could be offered with a 4.0-litre twin turbocharged petrol engine, while a V12 is also a possibility. Stay tuned as we will keep you updated about Mercedes-Maybach's new SUV.
If Mercedes is your choice and not SUVs, the Mercedes-AMG GT C Roadster may be of your interest. Here are the images.
